His multi-character shows continually win huge acclaim and his most recent, ANNA MANN: A SKETCH SHOW FOR DEPRESSIVES (2016) and HOW WE STOP THE FASCISTS (2017), have been regarded as some of the most original and joyful shows at the Edinburgh Festival, both being in the top ten best reviewed shows of their respective years.
Colin appears regularly on television and radio and is known for working with Ricky Gervais as Bryan in Life's Too Short (BBC2) and Geoff in Derek (Channel 4). He is also known as geeky vampire Crumb, from Being Human (BBC3) and for playing various roles in the hit comedy Murder in Successville (BBC3), including Ian McKellen, David Tennant, and Piers Morgan.
